Who I am

Hi, thanks for taking the time to visit my page. My name’s Jonathon, and I’ve been an avid tech lover since the mid to late 90s and early 2000s. I grew up in a tech household — my dad was a DBA, and my older brothers were technicians — which exposed me to the computing world early on. I still remember having a hub in our home network and those early Wi-Fi days.

Although I took a side step into the arts and entertainment industry, I always stayed connected to technology through niche interests like music production, digital art (animation, modelling, and web design), video game emulation, and the kinds of online communities that were big back then.

Presently, I’ve taken a more professional interest in IT and see it as both a craft and an art — something that connects people and organisations through invisible infrastructure, which I find fascinating.

This website is a living documentation of my infrastructure projects and creative work, built from what I’ve learned through my studies at Swinburne, my self-driven learning across different disciplines, and my time working at an MSP.

Outside of tech im still involved Martial arts , Fitness , Breakdancing and music production. The same things that strangely drew me to technology.
